FROM NATURE LOVER TO NATIONAL PRIDE, COACH TO ENTREPRENEUR—SWIMMING IS MY FOREVER INSPIRATION

A Journey of Passion and Excellence in Water Polo About Reza Ojagh:

I discovered my love for swimming while accompanying my father on fishing and swimming trips. I was not a strong swimmer at first, and swimming in freshwater was challenging, but it sparked a deep passion in me.

As I grew older and gained access to larger pools, I joined group swimming sessions and worked with coaches. I practiced diligently to improve my speed and endurance. My hard work paid off, and at the age of 13, I took up water polo.

After years of intense training, a coach recognized my potential, and in 1996, after two years of dedicated effort, I earned a spot on the Iranian junior national water polo team.

Unfortunately, an unexpected injury prevented me from participating in the Asian Championship. After recovering, I rejoined the national team and competed in the 1997 World Water Polo Championship in Cuba. My professional career spanned a decade (1997–2006), followed by coaching roles, including serving as an assistant coach for both junior and senior national teams in various World Championships.

I married my amazing wife in 2010, and in 2014, we moved to the U.S. in search of new opportunities. My first coaching job in the U.S. was a part-time position at De Anza College, which provided me with valuable experience. I also worked as a private swimming instructor, helping many people learn to swim and refine their skills. I then went on to coach at various locations across the San Francisco Bay Area.

After years of professional swimming, teaching, and coaching, I wanted to give back to the sport that had provided me with so many opportunities. I decided to create a company that combines my passion for swimming and fitness with my entrepreneurial spirit.

Rez Sport LLC, founded in 2020 in California, aims to promote holistic well-being. Our mission is to empower individuals to embrace physical activity by providing comfortable and stylish exercise equipment that supports active lifestyles.

As a former member of the national water polo team and a seasoned coach, I am committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals of all ages. I invite you to join me on this journey—embracing physical activity and pursuing happiness in all aspects of life.
